Marketing Coordinator
Overview Position requires onsite availability Recommends, develops, and executes marketing and promotional plans for defined hospital and ambulatory services. Also coordinates and promotes various special/educational events. Responsibilities * Works with Clinical and Administrative leadership teams and other administration and management staff to assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans, campaigns, promotions and activities. Develops and tracks individual budgets and projects, as requested. * Coordinates with others on maitenance of physician database/Find a Provider database for the Dartmouth Health system. * Coordinates the production of the annual Provider Phone Directory and similar projects. Oversees all aspects of assigned projects including design, copy, printing and mailing by collaborating with Communications and Marketing colleagues. * Works with communications and marketing colleagues to develop strategic and tactical marketing plans to support the system and centers of excellence, identifying methods, tools, budgets and vehicles to achieve plan goals for specific targeted audiences. * Promotes new providers to Dartmouth Health staff. Writes copy, verifies accuracy of information, proofreads, and works with Web team to distribute to internal audiences. * Works with the department’s creative staff and outside vendors, such as advertising agencies, graphic designers, and photographers, providing them with detailed work plans and objectives, ensuring work is completed. * Assists in organizing and promoting community educational programs, events and sponsorship opportunities in collaboration with marketing managers, strategic communications and community health improvement team. * Coordinates and assists with the planning and development of Dartmouth Health special events. * Works with other Communications and Marketing staff to monitor and guide the appropriate execution of hospital identity and logo in all media formats: print, electronic, collateral material, vehicles, and facilities. * Researches, writes, proofreads, and edits informational, educational and promotional publications. * Assists in the development of the departmental budget. * Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience in health care public relations or marketing or the equivalent required. * Excellent customer services and communications skills are a must, along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, creativity, maturity, flexibility, diplomacy, and the ability to work as part of a team. * The ability to multi-task, work under minimal supervision, and be able to meet deadlines while being accurate and attentive to details is essential. * Ability to work independently; demonstrating solid decision-making and problem solving skills. * Commitment to fostering respectful collaboration within a diverse community.
