\nLocated on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

\nPay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $21-25 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
\n\n\nWhat Will I Be Doing?
\nSupports the Director of Marketing (DOM), Assistant Director of Marketing (ADOM) and Marketing Manager in the execution of marketing tactics for the resort. Assists in administration of all aspects of marketing/branding tactics, including but not limited to: coordination of production schedules; facilitation of print collateral, F&B menus and signage design and printing; website content updates; oversight of image, video and other marketing asset libraries; administration of purchase orders and invoice processing; administrative coordination of media and VIP visits; content creation including written, photos and video; other administrative tasks as needed.
\nThis position serves as a key member of the on-site marketing team and a liaison to outside agencies and contracted vendors/service providers.
\nPosition Summary:
\n· Builds a close alignment with Hotel del Coronado departments and outside vendors.
\n· Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects at once.
\n· Attention to detail, accuracy and excellent proofreading skills are essential.
\n· Excellent communication skills.
\n\nCollateral Production: Coordinates production schedules, managing internal project communications and external vendor communication to meet deadlines for various projects, ranging from print collateral, F&B menus, signage, ad trafficking and more. \nAccounting Process: Responsible for creation of purchase orders and timely processing of department invoices.\nMedia & VIP Visits: Coordinate all aspects of media visits and assist with coordination of FAM trips as needed.\nWebsite Content: Assists with updates to Brand.com, vanity website and third party website (Where applicable) content, including upkeep of images, special offers, landing pages and other site content.\nContent Creation: Skills in photography, videography and copy writing to assist the department in content creation are a plus.\nAsset Library Coordination: Oversee the organization of photo, video and marketing material libraries.\nTeam Contributor: Participate as an active and engaged member of the marketing team.\n\n\n
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
\nEducation:
\n\nHigh School Diploma required\nFour year college degree preferred\n\nEmphasis in marketing, public relations or graphic design preferred\n\n\n\nExperience:
\n\nMinimum of 2-3 years combined marketing, advertising, and/or ecommerce marketing experience. \nPrior hotel/travel industry experience preferred\nWhat are we looking for?
