**What we need**
Skanska USA Building Inc. (Skanska) is looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator I to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this job, you’ll support our overall marketing and business development efforts by taking on responsibilities including but not limited to:
+ Assisting in editing, assembling, printing and filing qualifications, proposals and presentations
+ Collecting and entering information into our project and personnel database
+ Using corporate templates to create advertisements and brochures
+ Managing the marketing team’s supplies and equipment
+ Capturing and edit employee headshots
+ Assisting in internal and external event planning
+ Contributing to quarterly internal employee newsletter.
**What you bring to the table**
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite
+ Excellent skills in time management, organizing, writing, proofreading and editing
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, construction management, architecture, civil engineering or related discipline
+ The ability to think outside the box, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
+ Data entry skills
+ Knowledge of marketing fundamentals
+ A team-player mindset
+ A willingness to learn and work above and beyond
+ Determination and dependability.
**Other skills that would be great to have but aren’t required include:**
+ Basic video, photography, content development skills (e.g., experience using Adobe Creative Cloud Premiere Pro)
+ Experience in the construction or design industry.

**A day in the life**
+ Touring a local project and speaking with the onsite team
+ Developing an ad for a local award competition sponsorship
+ Participating in a proposal kickoff meeting with the project team
+ Updating resumes and project sheets for proposals
+ Data management including updating project and personnel information in the Marketing database.
**Good to know**
This job is performed in the office and requires frequent sitting (often working on a computer), frequent walking, standing, bending and reaching. Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists. You must be able to navigate jobsites and are expected to comply with all safety regulations. Work hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, as a highly deadline-driven and fast-paced environment, there will be projects and pursuits that may require time above and beyond the typical work schedule. While there may be occasional opportunities to expand on additional marketing skills, the primary focus of this role is not social media, video editing, website design, advertising or digital marketing campaigns.
