Marketing Coordinator LATAM

Location Details: Remote / Mexico City or São Paulo, Brazil

Travel Availability: Yes

Work Schedule: Full time  Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Reporting to: Head of marketing Latam

Team Reporting to This Position:

Two Marketing Specialists (one for Brazil and one for HA)

Two Marketing Analysts (one for Brazil and one for HA)

Internal and External Stakeholders:

Internal: Latam Digital Marketing / International Marketing Team / Latam Sales / Latam Product & Innovation / Latam Consulting / Customer Success / Procurement / Legal / Finance

External: Universities / Event Organizers / University Associations / Vendors / Marketing Agencies

Purpose of the Role:

You will be responsible for executing actions to achieve three strategic objectives: Brand Positioning , New Business Acquisition , and Client Retention .

For Brand Positioning , you will provide the Sales team with the necessary resources to communicate our solutions effectively. You will also organize and coordinate both proprietary and sponsored events across LatAm, focusing on creating impactful user experiences that strengthen our brand and generate business results.

For New Business Acquisition , you will work closely with the Sales team to ensure budget optimization and implement actions with a high potential for converting into new business opportunities.

For Customer Loyalty , you will support the Sales team in designing online and offline campaigns to build customer loyalty, emphasizing the utilization of our solutions by universities.

This role will require strategic collaboration, budget management, be customer centered, and a focus on measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Positioning: Ensure all actions comply with Pearson's brand guidelines while designing strategies to strengthen brand positioning in the market.

Sales Enablement: Update and create the materials for our Sales team, focusing on user experience and exploring innovative formats.

Event & Sponsorship Management: Lead the planning, organization, and execution of events (sponsored and our own) to support the Sales team in generating business opportunities and enhancing brand positioning.

Customer Loyalty: Define strategies to retain current clients by promoting the utilization of contracted solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the region, including Sales, Product, Digital, Customer Success, and more.

Market Insights: Research new trends in the higher education market across the region to identify factors impacting the marketing strategy, as well as new tools and formats. Coordinate efforts to gather customer’s feedback.

Campaign Integration: Align sales enablement efforts with broader marketing campaigns, ensuring that messaging, objectives, and tools are cohesive for maximum impact.

Performance Tracking: Oversee the execution of regional strategies by analyzing key metrics and managing the budget effectively.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communication, or related fields (postgraduate degree preferred).

Training: Marketing certifications: HubSpot, Google, Platzi, Udemy, etc.

Languages: English (B1-B2); desirable: Portuguese / Spanish

Previous Experience:

Proven experience working with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams in multinational corporations or large organizations.

Proficiency in CRMs such as Salesforce and HubSpot.

Budget management experience.

Proven experience developing 360º digital marketing strategies.

Delivery of executive-level reports.

Knowledge of BTL (Below the Line) marketing with measurable results.
