Manage marketing functions for the Company and activities within the marketing department, such as assessing the characteristics of products or services to be promoted to determine an establishment’s marketing and advertising needs. Create valuable and engaging content for the websites and blogs that attract and convert the Company’s target audience. Manage social media posting across all channels for multiple accounts, including post-campaign analysis to measure and report on marketing and advertising metrics. Develop brand awareness through brand awards recognition events, media outlets, local community initiatives, etc. Coordinate logistics and communications for international and local events such as tradeshows, meetings, conferences, and other media events. Analyze potential strategic partner relationships for the Company’s marketing and business development initiatives. Procure marketing collateral, corporate apparel, and merchandise. Maintain promotional materials inventory and monitor merchandise trends. Organize calendars and business appointments, as well as arrange international travel, visas, and accommodations for employees and strategic partners. Support marketing with research, analysis, and reporting in related areas, such as market research, target segmentation, and brand strategy. Write and create content for key communications deliverables, including presentations, newsletters, videos, brochures, letters, memos, bulletins, web content, scripts/speaking points, advertisements, and reports as required. Handle marketing department invoicing and monthly marketing budget reporting. Assist the VP of Marketing and Business Development, as necessary, with clerical and other administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology, or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is usually required. Minimum two (2) years of work experience in the position of marketing coordinator in the field of manufacturing, preferably in armoured vehicle manufacturing. Minimum two (2) years of experience in content development and online marketing. Experience organizing international trade shows with the participation of government agencies and the private sector (especially small and medium-sized enterprises or SMEs), preferably in the armoured vehicle manufacturing sector. Blogging and social media management experience. Experience with Videography and Photoshop. Proven knowledge of public relations and media crisis communications. Solid knowledge of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Power Point, and MS Word, Salesforce. Experience with Adobe Photoshop (beyond photo editing) and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Experience in the following areas: SEO & CRO; PPC & Social Advertising; Digital Analysis & Reporting; Copywriting. Strong personal organization skills, as well as problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Solid customer service skills with experience interfacing with all levels of stakeholders.

Wage – $32.45 per hour
