Marketing Data Analyst

The Data Analyst is essential in supporting various teams in RMS, providing ad-hoc reports for sector marketing, developing Power BI dashboards and data workflow by gathering and confirming requirements through use cases and prioritizing business value. The role also support digital related projects.

Main Tasks

Understand and manage various data sources across RMS (sources including but not limited to SAP ERP, CRM and WeChat ecosystem)Provides insights through internal ad-hoc reporting and dashboards from both data and business perspectives on daily/weekly/monthly basisDefine data workflow by understanding RMS business process and analyzing requirements, collaborating with GC BI teamActively engage in current digital related projects, providing innovative and cost-efficient solutions with data analysis and business insightsIdentify digital and data-driven business opportunities that bring (new) revenue from new digital solutions. Partner with various internal departments

Experience

Proven working experience as Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst (2-year experience+ preferred)Proficient with Excel Pivot, VBAWorking experience with at least one of the mainstream BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau etc.)Strong business acumen and data-driven mindset as a problem solverDatabase knowledge and experience with SQL is strongly preferredKnowledge and experience with ETL and data workflow with KNIME / Alteryx is preferred

Marketing and UI UX Design knowledge is strongly preferredData science background is preferredProgramming skills with Python and R is preferredKnowledge of SAP ERP & CRM is preferredTeam player with excellent interpersonal skillsExcellence in written and verbal communication of both Chinese and English
