Summary:
The Marketing Database and Analytics Specialist is responsible for the list sourcing and set up of outbound marketing efforts to help drive awareness of LexisNexis Risk Solutions and increase leads. He or she will provide the analytics that will enable accurate segmentation and targeting to maximize ROI for the direct marketing initiatives. This role will also be responsible for compiling data from multiple sources, analyzing and presenting this data.
Accountabilities
Procure, refine and segment contacts from internal and external sources to support marketing campaigns, market research projects and sales efforts.
Manage the list creation process for marketing campaigns in Eloqua, using multiple data sources and including any data manipulations, in accordance with requirements provided.
Perform complex data analysis to ensure data quality and thorough understanding of the data back to the original data source. Provide recommendations as required through results of analytics.
Manage contact lists to ensure targeted messages reach the appropriate audience to produce highest return on investment possible.
Conduct ongoing analysis of response rates and other measures to effectiveness for all direct marketing opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to direct and manage third-party direct marketing vendors.
Manage lead upload process, ensuring timely and error-free uploading of leads from sources including but not limited to tradeshows and webinars.
Manage project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables for assigned tasks.
Analyze complex data and translate analytics, marketing trends, customer needs and market research efforts into actionable marketing plans.
Report on ROI for all relevant marketing channels and activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Marketing or Business)
3-5 years marketing experience, with a focus in database marketing, demand generation and marketing analytics. – Marketing in general / relevant experience connected to Marketing
Knowledge with one or more database systems such as Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL
Knowledge of tools such as Eloqua, Google Analytics, SiteCore CMS, and Siebel CRM.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
