**The Role:**
The Dow Jones Brand Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Director, Brand Strategy - someone who is a strategic leader that will shape and execute the overarching marketing vision for Dow Jones. This role will ensure consistency, alignment, and excellence across all marketing efforts spanning multiple brands and products. The Marketing Director will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that enhance brand equity, support revenue goals, and position Dow Jones as a leader in its industry. This role combines strategic thinking, creative leadership, and operational excellence, requiring a leader who can navigate the complexity of a multi-brand organization while staying focused on measurable impact.
You will report to our VP, Brand Marketing and work hybrid from our NYC Office.
**You Will:**
**Strategic Marketing Leadership:**
+ Define and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns with Dow Jones' long-term goals and strengthens its position across core markets.
+ Lead the development of brand architecture and positioning strategies, ensuring consistency across all channels and audiences.
**Campaign Development and Execution:**
+ Lead the creation of integrated campaigns, blending brand and performance marketing strategies to achieve subscription and engagement goals.
+ Oversee multi-channel campaigns, including digital, print, social, and experiential, ensuring consistent messaging and creative excellence.
**Cross-Department Collaboration:**
+ Work closely with product, sales, and customer experience teams to identify opportunities for growth and ensure cohesive messaging across all touchpoints.
+ Act as a bridge between creative and strategic teams to ensure insights inform execution and creative outputs meet strategic goals.
**Performance Analysis and Optimization:**
+ Set and track campaign KPIs, using data to optimize performance and ensure ROI.
+ Analyze market trends and audience insights to refine marketing approaches and identify new growth opportunities.
**Brand Stewardship:**
+ Champion the Dow Jones brand, ensuring all marketing initiatives uphold its integrity and resonate with target audiences.
+ Oversee the development and evolution of brand assets, messaging frameworks, and naming conventions.
**You Have:**
+ 12+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
+ Proven track record of driving successful brand and performance marketing campaigns.
+ Strong understanding of digital marketing, subscription models, and audience engagement strategies.
+ Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and building trust with senior stakeholders.
+ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
+ Experience working in news, media, or a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
+ Familiarity with balancing editorial and commercial propositions is a plus.

Pay Range: $145,000 - $180,000
