Overview: TA instruments is seeking a Marketing Director to support the strategic and high-growth opportunity market to focus our resources and establish TA capabilities.
Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership in planning, designing, due diligence, and implementing strategic business objectives. Communicate the company vision, strategies, and tactics. Translate overall business strategy into broad functional objectives. Develop growth and transformation cases for corporate stakeholders. Engage cross-functional teams to drive execution of key strategy initiatives. Coordinate with the China commercial team on marketing plan perspectives, integration, landing, and execution. Take responsibility for integrating resources to achieve business strategy, define and deliver business growth, and develop effective product/portfolio strategies. Initiate marketing strategy plans and activities both functionally and nationally, collaborating with customers and sales teams. Establish business development expertise and communication skills to build and deliver strategy and business policies. Work closely with frontline or support teams. Act as an advisor to lower-level managers and consultant to senior management, leveraging extensive experience, education, and technical knowledge. Stay updated on business and industry trends. Make informed decisions that significantly impact functional, divisional, or company operations. Identify, recommend, and implement innovative and large-scale changes for new or existing products, processes, or methods. Influence senior leaders, take significant risks, and owe the success or failure of change management initiatives, affecting functional business strategies for the medium to long term (3-5 years). Maintain customer relationships and services across China/product lines/market segments/specializations. Interact and negotiate with major customers. Advise senior management on customer and quality systems and trends that significantly impact business operations. Direct and control activities within China through a small management team. Reallocate resources in response to changing business needs. Manage a substantial budget. Be flexible in involving commercial projects and marketing events to solve business problems and complete tasks using problem-solving techniques and mindset. Facilitate company C-level quarterly business review meetings, including meeting minutes preparation and action item follow-ups.
