Avera is a mission-driven organization focused on people and our communities.** + **As Director of Marketing, work with Vice President of Marketing and senior leadership to create, manage and direct marketing strategy incorporating Avera system-wide marketing themes and promoting the overall Avera marketing strategy into various product lines and business units.** + **Positive and productive team environment.** **Job Summary** The Director of Marketing – Business to Business (B2B) Strategy and Product Growth is responsible for the direction of development, implementation and maintenance of marketing strategy and campaigns for the product lines of the Avera Health Insurance division and other strategic business initiatives as assigned. **Supervisory Responsibilities** Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. **Education and/or Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing or related field is required. + 8 or more years of marketing related experience is preferred. + At least, one year supervisory experience is preferred. + Experience in health insurance or health related field is preferred.
