Offering Therapy Area (TA) expertise in Ophthalmology & Oncology

Enabling marketing strategy and 

Enhancing patient care and treatment outcomes 

As a Marketing Enabler you will be responsible for the commercial strategy of a portfolio and its brands. Marketing Enablers leverage on market and customer insights to identify opportunities, integrate approach, and steer the Therapy Area Portfolio strategy into comprehensive short- mid- and long-term strategic plans that are aligned with the local affiliate’s vision and global therapy-area integrated strategic plans. The role works closely with customer facing teams or PPOCs (Primary Points of Contact).

What you will be working on:

In this role, you will develop the Integrated Therapy Area (TA) Strategy for our Ophthalmology and a part of the Oncology portfolio and:

Translate the global product strategy (GPS) recommended TA Strategy into a comprehensive short-, mid-, and long-term strategic plans

Generate insights with the support of the insights team from regular local market reconnaissance thru, but not limited to customer engagements, market research and data analytics

Develop and own communication content, promotional and non-promotional materials and activities for PPOC engagement use

Outcomes Based Planning (OBP) and Budget allocation for key initiatives of the TA 

Bring an enterprise view and challenge status quo to challenge strategies/WP across TA to realize the triple Win (Roche, Ecosystem and Patient)

Oversee the portfolio to maximize profitability and revenue across the designated product range, through the leadership and development of the therapy area strategy

Provide commercial perspective for pipeline and portfolio across TAs and Disease Areas including evaluation of patient flow and market potential, pricing strategy and forecast

Actively participate as a contributing member to the network, and locally as an Enabling Expert of Patient Journey Partners (PJPs) and healthcare System Partners (HSPs) 

Define measures of success / KPIs, establish accountabilities, and monitor Brand and TA budget/performance through quarter, midyear, and annual revenue/sales forecasts and performance/business reviews

You have:

A Bachelor’s Degree in a business or science- related course

5 years or equivalent Commercial (marketing, sales) experience in a relevant industry 

Proficiency in English communication

Computer literacy and proficiency

Promotions and Communications expertise

People Skills including Influencing and Inspiring

Budget and Financial Management knowledge
