The Amazon Key and Ring teams are empowering customers to easily manage access to their homes and businesses. We are looking for a dynamic marketing manager to drive innovative strategies that connect with customers and achieve long-term growth. You will: (i) build and execute internal and external partnerships, (ii) manage new product and market launches, and (iii) test and implement new demand-generation tactics. As a key player on our team, you will lead marketing innovation from idea generation to market execution, leveraging agility and experimentation to develop new team capabilities.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead partnership management and activation, including partner identification, planning, content creation, and execution.
- Develop and manage physical Events, including planning, asset creation and amplification.
- Oversee new product and business launches and market expansions, managing planning, funding, asset development, and go-to-market support.
- Drive Test & Learn initiatives, aligning business questions, managing test activities, and conducting post-mortem analyses.
- Provide comprehensive reporting and post-mortem reviews to measure impact and refine strategies.
A day in the life
In this role, you'll balance hands-on execution with strategic development to build our marketing capabilities for the long term. You’ll collaborate closely with the Amazon Key product and sales teams, as well as agency partners, to drive impactful marketing initiatives. Your day may include identifying and activating partnerships, managing events, overseeing product launches, and leading Test & Learn experiments. As the centerpiece of our marketing operations, you will own key channels and have a direct influence on our growth and performance.
About the team
The Amazon Key team sits within the Amazon Devices team alongside Ring and other Home Security teams. Key is a uniquely cross-functional team within Amazon, and often serves as the connective tissue between Smart Home/Devices, Logistics, Operations, and Retail/Shopping. We are the bridge between device management and physical services, and our team indexes highly on ownership and collaboration. We have lots of stakeholders, and we have relentlessly high standards for our high-visibility programs.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience managing budgets
- Experience with marketing strategies in online and mobile channels
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
