Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Marketing & Events Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in planning and executing both internal and external events that enhance our organization's presence and engagement. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with Marketing and Communications leadership, as well as various internal stakeholders, to create memorable experiences that resonate with our community. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong communication skills who is passionate about event management and marketing. In this role, you will manage a diverse range of events, from conferences and community engagements to board events and resource fairs. Your ability to coordinate logistics, oversee vendor relationships, and provide exceptional event support will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute a variety of events, including conferences, meetings, socials, dinners, retreats, recognition events, ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, open houses, town halls, sponsorships, community events, and resource fairs.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of events to ensure seamless execution.
• Manage billing and invoices related to event planning.
• Oversee vendor relationships and coordination to maintain high standards.
• Arrange for high-profile speakers to enhance event quality.
• Coordinate community sponsorships as directed by the System Director of Marketing.
• Provide event support by supplying materials and promotional items.
• Procure and manage promotional materials as directed.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime, to meet the dynamic needs of the position and organization.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience required.

Physical Requirements:
• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects, including the human body.
• Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shifts.
• Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
