Due to our rapid growth in Asia, we are looking for an experienced social media specialist to help us expand our impact to more students.

Working closely with the CGA Asia and Global marketing teams, this role will focus on increasing brand awareness and educating Mandarin-speaking prospective families both within and outside Mainland China on the value of online schooling through CGA.

This is a full-time remote position, based in China (preferably Shanghai, Beijing or Shenzhen).

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Curation: Develop, curate, and manage high-quality, engaging content across WeChat and Xiaohongshu, including text, images, videos, and graphics.

Social Media Strategy: Contribute to the development of a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand goals and objectives.

Engagement: Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Cultivate conversations and build community.

Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, conversions) to gauge performance and inform future strategies.

Social Listening: Monitor social channels of competitors and online trends to stay informed of relevant industry developments, competitor activities, and customer sentiment.

What skills and experience are required?

2+ years of experience in content creation for WeChat and Xiaohongshu in Simplified Mandarin

Native Mandarin and fluent English verbal and written communication skills

Experience in the education technology or schooling industry is a plus

Platforms: design (Canvas, Photoshop or equivalent), video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premier or other video editing software)

Adaptability and growth mindset to arising opportunities and new initiatives

Comfort working in an international technology company with colleagues from all over the world
