Key Responsibilities:

The Marketing Finance Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the efficient execution of RD Finance activities aligned with the overarching goals and objectives of the World Vision Development Foundation. With a focus on both customer service excellence and accountability in verifying, recording all sponsor’s income in proper accounting entries, this role is also dedicated to fostering continuous improvement within financial systems and processes.

Execute performance commitments that align with the departmental and organizational goals and objectives effectively.Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to assess the performance of marketing campaigns, initiatives, and promotions. This includes evaluating the cost-effectiveness of payment gateways to facilitate informed decision-making in marketing strategies.Generate and analyze income date on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring consistent reporting for use by other teams.Offer support during periods of increased workload, particularly in the preparation of local proposals within the Resource Development (RD) department.Assist the Senior Finance Officer in attaining departmental annual targets and objectives, contributing to overall financial sustainability and success.Cultivate collaborative working relationships and uphold standards of excellence in processing, recording, and reporting financial transactions promptly and accurately to support decision-making processes within the RD and Finance directorates.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Finance, Accounting, or Accountancy.At least two years of hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting, financial analysis, reporting, campaign planning, return on investment (ROI) analysis, and forecasting. This experience equips candidates with a solid foundation in financial management practices essential for the role.Previous experience working with international non-government organizations (INGOs) or similar entities is highly desirable. Has familiarity with the operational dynamics and compliance requirements of such organizations.Demonstrate prior experience in finance, fundraising, or non-profit management, preferable with a focus on donation finance or related areas.Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools is essential, particularly with Sunsystems, PMQA (Performance Monitoring and Quality Assurance), OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) reporting, and Power BI.
