As part of HVAC Heating, Patterson Kelley is a leading manufacturer of commercial boilers and direct and indirect water heaters.  With an over 140 year history, we provide reliable, innovative comfort solutions for hospitals, schools, military bases, and stadiums.

 

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Marketing Graphic Designer you will be critical to the creation, upkeep, redesign of customer facing videos, website, graphics, social media, printed literature, and visual representation of the brand. In this role, you will enhance the brand identity by creating visually compelling graphics and videos, improve marketing campaigns by bolstering visual representation, support sales efforts by providing representatives with new and updated tools, and ultimately create more impactful and cohesive marketing efforts, ultimately contributing to growth and success.

 

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

Graphic Design Update of old content into a newer and more visually appealing design, while staying within traditional brand guidelines Support of our new product lines and expansion of legacy products Creating content for website and social media channels Identifying and evaluating improvement options Tradeshow design and implementation; graphic creation, layouts, themes Creation of sales tools in the form of literature/videos

 

     2. Marketing

Assist with website maintenance, sales literature, and documentation requirements for organization Work with representative organizations to assist in needs and internal sales staff to improve the functionality of the public and representative website Take ownership of social media channels Execution of small marketing campaigns for various product and tracking of said campaigns

 

     3.  Continuous Improvement: 

Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements that my help positioning within the market Communicate with representatives to understand wants and needs in support of product as well as field support of product Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and company updates to provide accurate and relevant information

 

 What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience

1+ years of design, marketing, sales, or customer relations experience. Proven experience in graphic design, including proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies, especially within a B2B manufacturing context.

 

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Be able to read, analyze, and interpret data Write in a clear and concise manner Ability to use passive and active communication skills with various personality types and in various settings Effectively present information and respond to questions utilizing a tactful demeanor Web graphic design, web savvy, planning, web User Interface Design, web programming skills, illustration tools, multimedia content development, understanding browser capabilities and internet Presence. High degree of competence of website and social media platforms (i.e. WordPress, HTML, Web site development, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Analytics, etc) Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office software products (i.e.Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Knowledge of sales, business and marketing processes Effective time management, detail orientation and organizational skills Strong business acumen, problem solving, data manipulation skills

 

Education & Certifications

Associates or bachelor’s in marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or Business field

 

Travel & Working Environment

Office environment Hybrid available Occasional travel
