Job Overview
The head of Consumer PS (Personal System)/ PC Marketing, part of the Greater India Marketing Leadership team, will be responsible for driving the marketing agenda across digital and physical channels for the consumer PS business in the region. This role will partner with the category, sales, trade and channel marketing, and worldwide teams to drive the market's business objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategize, develop and execute key long-term marketing strategies across digital, traditional and physical channels that drive business growth for the consumer PS businessBuild and scale cohesive digital and physical marketing platforms that drive brand love and grow product relevance.Own and drive the e-commerce objectives through marketing interventions on marketplaces, including Amazon, Flipkart and quick commerce platformsOwn and drive the experience across the entire consumer journey both in physical (owned and third party) and digital channels to build preference and drive choice for the brandOversees day-to-day activities and operations of one or more large teams of marketing professionals, including managing staffing, workflow, and budgets.Guides the team to conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer behaviour, preferences, and emerging trends.Oversees the planning, execution, and optimisation of marketing campaigns, including advertising, promotions, and content marketing.Develops, monitors and tracks key performance indicators and return on investment on the country's marketing campaigns.Oversees customer segmentation and audience strategy development by leveraging market insights and product or solution roadmaps.Maintains strategic partnerships or alliances with local businesses and organisations to expand market reach.Oversees operational success, aligns strategies, and integrates activities with major organisational functions, setting policies and owning numerous measurable goals.Serves as a key advisor to executive management in influencing the strategic direction of the business while also developing organisational policies and authorising their implementationPerforms talent management responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management, coaching and career development.Build marketing alliances and partnerships aligned with the strategic business prioritiesThis senior role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer for India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Education & experience
15-20 years of hands-on experience in brand strategy, marketing and driving business outcomes through innovative marketing strategiesIn-depth understanding of the marketing, digital and advertising ecosystemsStrong ATL/BTL, digital and large-scale campaign management experienceExperience in building and scaling owned digital platformsE-commerce marketing experience across owned and third-party platforms is a mustStrong data-driven marketing skills with experience in uncovering consumer/business insights from qualitative/quantitative data, both internal and external, and translating them into marketing strategy and campaigns.Experience in partnering with internal media teams and external media partners to develop efficient media plansStrong experience in working in cross-functional teams (local and worldwide) with the ability to influence key stakeholders with data-driven insightsHas experience in category creation/expansion in any industryPrior experience in leading a high-performing marketing teamDocumented history of consistent success and goal achievementCandidates with FMCG marketing and tech marketing experience will be preferredCollege degree in Marketing/Business; MBA strongly preferred
