Marketing Intern - Photography & Video
Froedtert South is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Intern specializing in photography and videography to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced healthcare marketing environment and contribute to impactful projects that promote our services and engage our community. The ideal candidate is a junior or senior-level student with a passion for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of marketing principles.
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Responsibilities:
Photography: Capture high-quality photographs of various subjects, including staff, patients (with appropriate releases), events, facilities, and service lines, adhering to brand guidelines and style guides. Edit and retouch photos to ensure optimal quality and consistency. Organize and maintain a digital photo library, ensuring proper tagging and accessibility. Assist with photo shoots, including setting up equipment, lighting, and props. Videography: Film and edit engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, website, and internal communications. Develop storyboards and shot lists for video projects. Operate video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio equipment. Edit video footage using professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro). Incorporate graphics, music, and other visual elements into videos. Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team on various projects, including content creation, social media campaigns, and event planning. Assist in developing marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and website content. Research industry trends and best practices in visual marketing. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and offer creative ideas for marketing initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Junior or Senior standing preferred. Proven experience and proficiency in photography and videography, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom). Strong understanding of visual storytelling principles and techniques. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Experience with social media platforms and content creation is a plus.
