Overview:

Blackhawk Network is hiring a summer intern to work on our global marketing team, to support some of our large projects and initiatives.   

Marketing plays a unique role at Blackhawk bringing together product marketing, research, sales enablement, content development, creative design, business strategy and more. As a payments company that helps people and brands connect through gift cards, prepaid cards and electronic transfers, our marketing efforts are primarily B2B, and you will work closely with the marketing, sales, product and sales operations teams. This intern would work most closely with the research and product marketing teams, and focus on marketing research and competitive assessment projects. 

The right person for this position will have a passion for marketing and data, and be interested in learning about the B2B marketing space. They should be comfortable both working independently and with cross-functional teams, and working with team members across the country and globe. 

Responsibilities:

As a marketing Intern at BHN, you will work with our product marketing, research and larger go-to-market teams and will learn how to build and execute a marketing research project and campaign end to end. 

You will have an opportunity to work on the following at scale: 

 

Drive global insights and answer key business questions with research at a global and regional level Engage with and learn about prioritization, project planning, and buildout of research roadmap that stays close to marketing leaders around the world Leverage internal and external resources to research and learn about our industry and competitive landscape, consolidating those findings into meaningful tools for our business Be the voice of insights and share your research findings with key cross functional stakeholders Participate in the full campaign launch plan development, on how the projects you work on will be brought to market internally and externally

Demonstrate solid marketing, research and data analysis fundamentals Project management skills, ability to manage timelines and various project milestones and stakeholders Proficient with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint Strong analytical skills and a data driven mindset Excellent communication and presentation skills Interest and excitement to learn about the B2B marketing space Solid verbal and written communication skills  Willingness to learn, be inquisitive and passionate  Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills  

 

 

Education:   

Bachelor’s/Master's degree program in marketing, business, communications or other related major  Benefits:

Salary Range: $25.00/hr to $30.00/hr
