Job Description

 

Danfoss Power Solutions is now hiring for a Marketing Intern.  This Ames, Iowa-based internship will give the successful candidate the opportunity to assist the Market Communications Manager in the execution of a wide variety of marketing, external communications, and internal communications strategies. The internship is fast-paced, global in scope, and will require strong project management skills.

Job Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

 

Assist the MarCom manager in daily activities and all areas of the department Serve as a liaison and advocate for the Hydrostatics Division when working with internal global teams and external vendors, ensuring that division goals and strategies are fully understood and successfully executed Complete projects within budget and deadline parameters Work within a global team at a leading engineering company Be able to manage a dynamic, complex project with many moving parts

Required (basic) qualifications – Two to three years of college education, preferably with a marketing, business, or communications major.  Part-time or full-time job experience, with an emphasis on project management, leadership, and communications. 

 

Preferred qualifications – Previous work experience in a professional and/or multinational environment.

 

Job Criteria –

              Strong communication skills

              Strong project management acumen

              Proficiency in Microsoft platforms, including Teams

              Working knowledge of fluid power or mobile machinery systems is a plus
