POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a Marketing Intern for a 12- to 14-week summer internship to support our marketing team in executing high-impact projects that elevate our brand presence and engagement. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in website optimization, social media management, email marketing, and content creation, while actively contributing fresh ideas and researching emerging industry trends. You'll work side-by-side with cross-functional teams on real-world projects that directly influence guest engagement and revenue. Responsibilities AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Assist in optimizing website performance through SEO strategies and content updates. Upload and organize additional photos and guest testimonials. Support the creation of new email workflows to ensure guests receive targeted, relevant content that drives revenue. Assist in tracking, analyzing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns for improved performance. Research and share insights on emerging social media trends that could enhance engagement. Assist in brainstorming, drafting, and scheduling social media posts to maintain a consistent brand voice. Organize and manage user-generated photos in the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system for easy access by the marketing team. Catalog video content, streamlining the process of creating marketing materials, travel shows, and promotional videos. Potentially contribute to marketing content writing, if demonstrated writing skills meet company standards. Assist in editing and producing short-form videos for website use, ad campaigns, and top-of-funnel marketing efforts. Support the organization of video assets to enhance the efficiency of production workflows. Contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns aligned with Holiday Vacations' strategic goals. Qualifications CORE COMPETENCIES Organizational Skills & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in content creation, campaign execution, and digital asset management. Research Skills: Ability to analyze industry trends, social media strategies, and marketing best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and contribute to marketing content. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content. Analytical mindset with the ability to research industry trends and interpret marketing data. Intermediate understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media, and email marketing. Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and trends. Experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign), or similar platforms. (Preferred by not required.) Familiarity or experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot or email marketing platforms. (Preferred by not required.) Familiarity or experience with content management systems like Drupal or similar platforms. (Preferred by not required.) Basic knowledge of video editing for short-form content creation.
