Job Description
Your Team
Brookfield Residential’ s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of our projects and operations. This internship program is open to highly motivated and driven students who are eager to explore the development and residential real estate industry, gain practical experience, and make meaningful contributions to our team. The Summer Internship Program will begin on May 19, 2025 and conclude on August 15, 2025.
This opportunity will work closely with our Marketing team. Areas of responsibility will include, and not limited to, the following:
Your Key Deliverables
Ongoing Website Updates including:
Community or neighborhood website updates including descriptions, features, hours etc.
Resize and upload photography meeting the correct size requirements and adding alt text
Monitor and resolve live website issues
Support the 3D platform, Matterport, by adding features and downloading photos and adding into Sitecore
Utilize both Umbraco and Sitecore Knowledgebase, escalate issues to IT as needed
Check 3rd party listing websites confirming data accurately matches website
Adding new communities and neighborhoods to website:
Coordinate with development and purchasing to confirm the data is correct in Tochi, NewStar and feeding to Umbraco or Sitecore to publish
Review and publish project in Umbraco and create new community/neighborhood
Gather community, neighborhood and floorplan map assets and oversee interactive 2D, 3D map production, editing and final publishing with vendors.
Resize and upload lifestyle, model or staged photography meeting the correct size requirements for the area and adding alt text.
Utilize Umbraco and Sitecore Knowledgebase, escalate issues to IT as needed.
Update myVision changes such as 3D interactive floorplans.
Coordinate photoshoots, with input from Marketing team for website, social, 3D videos, Traditional photography, and Matterport scans
Support basic graphic design and In-Design production of collateral for office and communities
Add floorplans – jpeg and SVG of each level, copy and photography for each floorplan.
Put together floorplan brochures meeting NA requirements.
Email Marketing
Working with corporate director of digital marketing schedule, test, deploy and report on eblasts– coordinating between marketing, builder sales teams, and agency partners
Draft email and blog content as needed
Assist in setting up lead notification workflow and email for builder partners
Weekly performance and lead reporting
Assist with other marketing support requirements as needed
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a related field (e.g., Real Estate, Construction Management, Business, Digital Marketing, Marketing and Communications, Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning).
CMS experience, knowledge of Salesforce, Hubspot and Umbraco is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong written communication skills in order to convey information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). with a technical aptitude to learn new and/or customized programs quickly
A keen interest in real estate and development.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a strong team player.
A positive and can-do attitude.
Ability to work 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.
Must possess reliable transportation.
