Make no mistake, this isn't a "fetch coffee and make copies" internship; we're looking for hard-working, dedicated, anxious-to-learn individuals to fill these spots. If that sounds like you - read on! **What Does a UES Marketing Internship Look Like?** At UES, we understand that marketing for an engineering firm is a little different than what most people expect. With that in mind, we’ve developed a module-based curriculum that covers multiple aspects of our company. We’ll show you the ins and outs of our industry while teaching you how to use that knowledge to craft meaningful marketing pieces aimed at growing our business. Don’t know what geotechnical engineering is? We have a module for that! Want to learn how a drill rig works or visit an active construction site? We have a module for that! Have no clue what RFQ or RFP means? We have a module for that! **_*New for Summer 2025*_** _Interns who successfully complete our first-year program will be invited to return in Summer 2026 for our advanced internship which includes the opportunity to build your program based on your areas of interest, utilizing our newly developed elective modules library. Our advanced internship also includes seminars from industry experts, technical service line intensives, and project management training._ Marketing interns will report to the Texas Region Marketing Director and will work daily with our marketing team. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Assist marketing team with research, writing, editing, and production of Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), and other collateral + Create project cutsheets and resumes for area offices + Take project photography + Assist with a variety of clerical work, such as filing, copying, and organization of pursuits At the end of the summer, interns will prepare a short presentation for department leadership sharing what they learned throughout the internship. **Qualifications:** Students should be a rising Sophomore or Junior majoring in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, Photography, English, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field. In addition, they should have the following: + Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite + Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus + Ability to work well with others + A positive attitude with a willingness to learn + Ability to problem solve + Desire to bring fresh ideas to a growing team and company Interns must live near or be able to move to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex on their own. We DO NOT cover relocation expenses for interns.
