We are seeking a talented individual to join our UK Marketing and Communications team at Marsh McLennan (MMC). This role will be based in London. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will help create and execute integrated always-on marketing across all delivery channels, working on a range of campaigns across MMC, with a focus on Marsh’s Corporate & Commercial practice.
Reporting to the MMC UK Chief Marketing Officer, this role will be responsible for developing fit for purpose marketing programmes, combining strategy and campaign execution, aligned to UK business objectives.
Marsh Commercial provide insurance broking services to the SME sector. As such, this role will focus predominantly on digital campaigns, lead generation, click to buy and campaign content for the SME market as well as third party clients (Affinity)
You will lead on the development of commercial marketing campaigns, with specific focus on enterprise & affinity as well as delivering relevant regional activation.
You will have direct reports and work with them in the execution of campaigns.
Working with the wider MM marketing and comms team to support collaborative go-to-market for Marsh and Mercer.
The marketing team is aligned with the business and work in partnership with our client and sales teams in the development and activation of the marketing and communications strategy, generating and nurturing leads for commercial success.

Work with relevant business stakeholders to understand their areas and client focus, using this insight to create fit for purpose marketing campaigns to support the business, aligned to the overall marketing strategy.Tailor any relevant marketing campaigns, for regional deployment where relevant in support of business requirements.Build compelling marketing propositions and plans that help position the business in our key market segments, including Enterprise and Affinity, across the regions and deliver leads and sales, based on strong client led insights.Work closely with the digital centre of excellence to leverage all aspects of digital marketing to enable enhanced client / prospect engagement and to support activation and drive lead generation, enhancing UX and engagement levels across the website to boost campaign performance and deliver a friction-less client journey.Build and nurture the Marsh and Mercer brands where relevant through a clear focus on social activities, leveraging the social media and PR CoEs, and manage the delivery of digital lead generation activity including social (paid and organic).Drive performance excellence through collaboration across the MMC marketing and communications team to share best practices, ensure integration, efficient delivery, and consistency of approach across all MMC practice areas.Actively engage key internal stakeholders to create advocates, generate engagement and amplify campaign activity to drive commercial success. Support the sales and consultant teams on how to leverage marketing campaigns with clear sales enablement assets and ensuring lead nurture is captured in our CRM system (MPower).Monitor and communicate progress on budget goals at the client and campaign level, agreeing all spend with the CMO.Ensure best practice is applied and all relevant MMC policies and applicable laws/regulations are adhered to so that all marketing is compliant.Build awareness and understanding of the wider marketplace to spot opportunities for timely and topical marketing and PR activity.What you need to have:
Extensive experience across all marketing disciplines and delivery channels with a clear track record in digital marketing, analytics, and proving ROI, enabling maximised commercial success.Experience in building B2B brands, and in delivering cut through integrated campaigns.Effective relationship building and stakeholder management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with influencing and negotiation skills at senior executive levels.Project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.Team-oriented and highly motivated self-starter with proven track record for collaboration within and across teams.Flexible approach, thriving on change and innovation, balanced by attention to detail and structured thinking.Experience in managing multiple marketing programmes for differing lines of business in a coordinated approach.What makes you stand out?
