Marketing Manager, Executive Education and Executive Doctorate Program

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing the marketing strategy and execution for the University of Miami’s Miami Herbert Business School Executive Education portfolio (which includes custom programs for corporate clients and select tailored open enrollment including creation of joint program with Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (IESE) business school and Executive Doctorate Program. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to craft data-driven, high-impact campaigns that build awareness, drive enrollment, and establish the University's position as a leader in executive education. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Executive Education Strategic Marketing & Campaign Development + Develop, implement, and manage the Program Marketing function for Executive Education, ensuring efficiency and consistency across marketing initiatives. + Collaborate with departmental leadership and program staff to create go-to-market strategies and roadmaps for a variety of programs. + Lead the development of positioning, messaging, and launch strategies for new and existing Executive Education offerings, ensuring alignment across all channels. Market Research & Strategy + Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and opportunities for differentiation in the competitive landscape. + Use insights to shape marketing strategies that emphasize the value of Executive Education offerings. Marketing Planning & Execution + Develop and execute marketing plans to promote awareness and enrollment in Executive Education programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals. + Oversee campaigns across platforms, including digital, email, and social media, to attract diverse prospective participants. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement + Partner with stakeholders to identify and showcase compelling stories, testimonials, and program outcomes. + Work collaboratively with internal teams to align marketing efforts with program objectives and priorities. Budget Management & KPI Monitoring + Recommend and allocate advertising budgets for Executive Education programs to optimize ROI. + Monitor KPIs such as revenue growth, engagement metrics, and campaign performance, using data to refine strategies. Content Development & Campaign Leadership + Develop professional and engaging messaging and visual content that highlights program value, outcomes, and differentiators. + Coordinate multimedia campaigns that include faculty insights, participant testimonials, and program highlights. Executive Doctorate in Business Administration (EDBA) Strategic Marketing & Campaign Development + Create and execute marketing strategies to elevate the EDBA program’s reputation and appeal. + Collaborate with Faculty leads, Recruitment, and Program Management to establish the program’s unique positioning and launch plans. Market Research & Strategy + Conduct research to understand potential participants' needs and preferences and identify opportunities for differentiation. + Use insights to inform high-impact messaging and marketing strategies. Marketing Planning & Execution + Develop and implement marketing plans to increase visibility and enrollment in the EDBA program. + Execute campaigns across multiple channels to engage prospective participants effectively. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement + Collaborate with faculty, alumni, and current participants to showcase the program’s impact and unique value. + Work with communications and PR teams to promote the program through media and industry channels. Budget Management & KPI Monitoring + Manage program budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and optimal allocation of resources. + Define KPIs and track metrics such as inquiries, conversion rates, and overall campaign performance to inform decision-making. Content Development & Campaign Leadership + Create and manage content that highlights the academic rigor, research opportunities, and professional benefits of the EDBA program. + Coordinate the production of high-quality materials, including videos, print collateral, and digital assets. Shared Responsibilities Across Both Portfolios + Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding. + Manage agency partnerships and vendors. Onboard new resources when necessary. + Coordinate with larger marketing teams, facilitating effective communication and processes. + Leverage market insights, research, and analytics to refine marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance. + Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support successful execution of marketing initiatives. + Align all efforts with institutional goals, maintaining consistency in branding and communication across platforms. + Remain abreast of changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. + Delegate and supervise work performed by staff, vendors and contractors, and other relevant parties. + Assist leadership in evaluating and overseeing special events and community outreach projects with the ability to work evenings/weekends as necessary. + Develop advertising messages and promotional campaigns. + Develop tracking systems that evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and projects. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Strong foundation in marketing, branding, and content strategy, with demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated campaigns. + Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Slate, HubSpot) for campaign management and analytics. + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling storytelling and create content across print, digital, email, and social media platforms. + Analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance, interpret market trends, and make data-driven decisions. + Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. + Knowledge of digital marketing design trends and best practices, as well as print production processes. Education Requirements + Bachelor's in marketing, Business, or a related field. + Master's degree preferred. + Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
