As the Field Marketing Manager, you will be the strategic partner to sales, serving as the "go-to" marketing point-of-contact for your territory - Greater China & Hong Kong. Reporting up to the Director, APAC Field Marketing, you will work in a fast-paced, agile and collaborative marketing environment. You will be responsible for developing a prioritized marketing plan to achieve sales goals and marketing performance indicators (KPIs). You will build a GTM plan with purpose that is aligned with business priorities, in collaboration with the broader marketing team to maximize the investment to encompass all aspects of the marketing mix, deliver stellar customer experiences, adhere to marketing processes and drive results against goals.
As a Field Marketing Manager you will:
Closely align with sales on regional sales goals, keep a pulse on business needs and form insights
Develop a regional plan that encompasses the full marketing investment mix aligned to company GTM priorities with strategy and purpose, in partnership with the extended marketing team.
Implement a mix of marketing tactics to fuel growth and accelerate deals including 1:1 ABM, in-person events (Cloudera led and 3rd party sponsored), meeting/calling programs and more to increase brand & demand, expand and retain customers, accelerate deals and penetrate new logo accounts
Execute events and campaign pre, during and post event strategy with operational excellence
Interlock cross marketing to leverage approved messaging and assets as well as collaborate on the GTM plan and drive velocity through the demand funnel
Engage partners and with partners in select marketing events and campaigns to deliver results in collaboration with Partner Marketin
Lead management and close collaboration with the ISR team.
Measure, analyse and evaluate performance against KPIs and goals to continually optimize results, deliver actionable insights, and make data driven decisions to continually improve outcomes
Manage budget forecasting and spend
Drive pipeline outcomes and marketing ROI
Be an ambassador for brand and compliance
Be responsible for overseeing the demand funnel to increase velocity to close
Report and present the region’s results and plans in QBRs.
We're excited about you if you have:
BS/BA in business, marketing or communications.
5+ years in Field Marketing with history of high-impact work
Additional experience in Demand Gen, Partner Marketing or Events is ideal
Experience in fast-paced tech software marketing is ideal
Sales experience is a plus
Ability to build and execute a strategic GTM collaborative marketing plan, including in-person events and account based marketing
Excellent interpersonal skills - can work well cross-functionally and with diverse audiences to achieve collaborative objectives
Highly motivated and experienced marketer with a passion for field marketing, brand-building, partner strategies, event planning, and demonstrated ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns and/or partner marketing programmes
Ability to manage multiple activities in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment that includes: events, ABM field programmes, demand generation & other tactical field activities.
Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills; must be a team player.
Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools such as Marketo and Salesforce.com.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Chinese)
