Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our pre-opening team at Andaz Lisbon.

Expected to open inQ2 2025, Andaz Lisbon will offer guests an exciting new luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital – and it will represent a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is set to become the second Hyatt-branded hotel in Lisbon.Located in the center of Lisbon’s bustling Baixa district and situated along the main pedestrian road, Rua Augusta, the hotel will be comprised of five separate buildings, including the former offices of one of the major banks in Portugal, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). This central building of the hotel will offer 170 guestrooms, with the surrounding four satellite buildings of the hotel offering guests various private suites to choose from. This unique Urban Resort in the city center will allow guests to fully embrace the locale and experience authentic Lisbon.

About the role

The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and implementing the properties’ marketing strategies, which includes brand awareness initiatives, FB marketing, destination marketing, loyalty (World of Hyatt) marketing, social media content marketing, communications and public relations tasks. You are a creative guru and engage in locale in a deep and thoughtful way.

You live and breath the brand and bring it to life everyday by building positive brand awareness for the Andaz Lisbon both locally and with like minded brands.You will have control over all digital, social and PR media to optimize all marketing channels.

Ideally with a degree in marketing or digital fields ^ communication.Been in the Marketing head role for a luxury hotel or lifestyle brand.Ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives.Proficiency in analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and campaign performance.Strong understanding of how to use creativity to differentiate the brand in the market.Ability to manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Strong verbal and written communication skills to craft compelling messaging and branding.Experience in maintaining and enhancing brand identity across all marketing channels.Deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviors.Expertise in managing social media platforms and developing social media strategies.Experience in managing marketing budgets and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.Experience in leading and mentoring a marketing team, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.You speak Portuguese. And you know the vibe of our city and its people.Pre-Opening Experience an advantage.
