Independence Realty Trust is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. The Marketing Manager will execute integrated marketing programs for IRT’s growing portfolio of multi- family communities. This role is responsible for implementing and overseeing all community level marketing, resident retention and social media campaigns. They will also play an integral role in both community and company initiatives including the company newsletter, brand identity, collateral design and content creation, social media presence, and online reputation management.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Support the execution of marketing, branding and communications strategies that will best maximize each community’s exposure in each market Provide advice regarding advertising, media placement, social media, electronic marketing and site content to increase ROI Conduct regular marketing needs assessments with properties and execute Monitor competitor’s marketing materials and incorporate best practice changes when appropriate Conduct marketing audits, report on the results, and works with the marketing team to ensure compliance with best practices Assist in directing, planning and implementing community events, including the promotion and logistics of marketing special events (grand openings, resident events, etc.) Assist in strategizing, developing and distributing all promotional marketing materials, including electronic and print media Research and create marketing/advertising ideas and areas for growth Design and create advertisements and marketing collateral for communities consistent with the IRT brand Update marketing materials with current data and statistics Manage and create content for community and corporate social media channels Monitor community online review websites, report on performance metrics and make recommendations to improve the communities’ reputation sentimentJob qualifications include but are not limited to:
Must be in a current Marketing Managerial role 2-3 years of marketing experience in multi-family. Should have experience with renovation projects and re-positioning of a property BS or BA degree in marketing or comparable field Disciplined and process driven with strong project management skills to ensure consistent and persistent focus on key initiatives and performance metrics Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate with department leaders and on-site teams Excellent creative flair with top-notch conceptual and visual skills with the ability to take ideas and transform them into images and layouts Must be able to perform tasks that require a large amount of concentration with interruptions and changing priorities Must possess a high degree of self-initiative, assertiveness, and flexibility and pay close attention to detail Knowledge of Entrata product suite is a plus Experience with creative software programs is required (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc) Advanced proficiency in social engagement and marketing campaign management on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube is required Solid abilities in MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)We offer:
