We are currently looking to hire a strategic candidate to join our global marketing team, based in the UK. The individual will be responsible for the Restructuring practice's efforts, reporting to the Co-Head of Restructuring, and will oversee the EMEA region, which includes the UK and Ireland, Netherlands, Spain, and the Middle East. The candidate will be influential in supporting the Co-Head's needs and implementing their strategy.
This role requires superior customer service and interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to inspire confidence in stakeholders and efficiently manage suppliers. The candidate needs to be able to work independently and be accountable for their workload in driving success. This is a hands-on role that requires senior presence as well as detailed execution.
Day-to-day responsabilities:
Plan, execute and manage integrated Marketing activities in EMEA that are aligned to the global strategy and plan. Collaborate with practitioners to identify and translate client issues into go-to-market messages for target audiences and diverse channels i.e. email, social media and digital. Understand the business, target audience and competitive landscape to identify, manage and communicate internally and externally an aligned marketing program. Leverage technology for effective project management and execution, including Monday.com, Salesforce, Eloqua and the full Microsoft Office Suite. Manage and execute events for the Restructuring practice across EMEA including hosted, sponsored and virtual events. Where needed they will also support global campaigns. Work with Kroll’s local managing directors and the Communications team on the strategic plan and ongoing PR activities in EMEA. Manage respective service line web pages and plan digital marketing campaigns with internal Integrated Marketing team including web, SEO, social media, and digital advertising. Leverage marketing activities generated across the firm and adapt to local markets. Ensure all marketing initiatives are strategic, determine success metrics, develop best approach to achieve goals and measure performance. Develop strong working relationships with service line leaders, the global Marketing team, and external suppliers to maximise our marketing efforts. Manage budget and maintain tracking of outcomes across sales and marketing metrics, including ROI Stay abreast of the market landscape and trends, while sharing learnings, best practice and insights with the Marketing team and business stakeholders.
Essential traits:
6-8 years of marketing and events experience ideally at a professional services or financial services firm. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Superior attention to detail. Innate drive for excellence. Ability to work well under pressure with tight timelines and high expectations for excellence. Experience with Salesforce and Eloqua or similar marketing technology systems; fully proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Experience with project management systems (i.e. Monday.com) Ability to excel in a matrix management environment under minimal supervision, while reporting results and conferring with superiors on unusual matters and seeking feedback as needed. Ability to travel, as needed. Ability to be very “hands on” and comfortable taking direct responsibility for deliverables. Strong team player. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, while being comfortable working with and challenging stakeholders within the team and the wider business. Creative and innovative, regularly sharing ideas and best practices. An additional language would be advantageous.
