With our historic growth, it is an exciting time to join our team of employee-owners.This opportunity entails being responsible for managing and mentoring marketing staff, implementing marketing strategies, and overseeing the division’s overall quality of marketing materials. Provides strategic direction/guidance to team in developing strategies for responding to and preparing materials.
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for providing daily oversight and mentoring to a marketing team that aligns with the marketing strategy to drive quality work, on schedule, on budget and to the client's satisfaction.Manages intake requests and daily assignments. Establishes proper staffing levels and helps facilitate multi-office, multi-division, multi-discipline cooperation on areas such as job sharing and mega-project initiatives. Understands division sales goals and marketing budgets, as well as performance relative to these goals and budgets. Analyzes marketing costs and provides feedback to local and divisional leadership. Reviews budget recommendations and submit to leadership for approval.Participates and plays an active role in marketing related activities with the division, including leading strategy meetings, pursuit kick-off meetings, and providing training on HNTB’s sales tools and processes.Responsible for the ongoing development and refinement of quality assurance procedures. Serves as quality control reviewer of materials developed by the department to ensure schedules are met and various aspects of the proposals and other marketing materials are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.Works with division leadership to support the execution and monitoring of strategic business plans, client service plans and external relationship plans.Responsible for the recruitment, hiring, mentoring, development, and retention of staff, including performance and compensation reviews.Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field and 8 years relevant experience including 2 years of project leadership experienceWhat We Prefer:
Strong understanding of the pursuit process with success leading large, complex government submissionsStrong people management skills with a minimum of 5 years of experience managing a teamA minimum of 15 years of experience, 10 of which need to be in the AEC fieldWillingness to work out of our NY office with ability to do light travel to other Northeast Office locations on a limited basiAdditional Information
