We’re looking for a highly skilled marketing manager to set the course for the marketing team for the assigned brand to help build and drive demand. The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and a comprehensive knowledge of branding and positioning. This person must be able to lead a team of marketers, designers, product marketers, and more, to develop and execute on a comprehensive marketing strategy, driving demand and increasing the brand’s position in the market. The role also requires a deep understanding of marketing funnels, analytics, budget optimization, and strong team leadership.

Objectives of this role

Collaborate with business and technical teams to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies to increase demand, and grow the brand’s presence in the marketOversee and grow the marketing departmentIdentify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and expendituresDevelop key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable strategies and initiatives for marketing team

Responsibilities

Lead development of marketing strategy through deep qualitative and quantitative researchSpearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendationsManage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and salesConduct meetings regularly with the team to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions, and provide training to ensure team is consistently performing above standardAttend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysisStay up to date on the product, market, competitors, and other noteworthy trends

Skills and qualifications

Successful track record in senior marketing role with a technical productExcellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsExperience in digital marketing, content marketing, events, and product marketingProven ability to plan and manage budgets In depth experience pulling, manipulating, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to build a comprehensive strategyExperience creating tracking tools and KPIs to monitor successExperience shortening lead times and sales cycles

Preferred skills and qualifications

Experience with SalesforceExperience with campaign, content management, and other marketing softwareExperience in B2B softwareDesire to grow professionally through ongoing education
