Marketing Lead for Electrification Australia

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the strategic marketing plan for ABB Electrification Australia – the company’s largest revenue business area – to generate demand and influence specific opportunities. Each day, you will act as a consultant to the business and help us bring our ambitious plan of marketing activities to life . You will showcase your competence in campaigns and content, marketing automation and digital marketing, combined with a thirst to learn and adopt new marketing tools and techniques..The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-Hybrid with an expectation of working at least 2 days per week in one of our ABB offices. Ideally you will be based in Melbourne, where the rest of the team resides, however applicants based in Sydney and Brisbane are also welcome.This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area in Australia. Our core target markets are Healthcare, Data Centers, Commercial Buildings, Mining, Oil & Gas, Electric Vehicle charging, Renewables and more.You will be mainly accountable for:•Lead on 2-3+ full-funnel, integrated marketing campaigns per year, leveraging an ever-growing suite of marketing tools at your disposal to maintain a laser focus on audience targeting, and effectively nurture marketing leads. •Act as the local Business Area lead on social media marketing, managing social presence, taking responsibility for scheduling and performance analysis, and spearheading our employee advocacy program.•Lead on event management (eg. exhibitions, trade shows, customer events) as part of integrated campaigns, and in a standalone capacity.•Collaborate closely and effectively with the local business and channel partners to understand our external audiences as well as our internal strategic objectives, while always acting as a consultant to suggest the best marketing levers to achieve the desired outcomes. •Leverage intelligence gathered from marketing campaigns and digital tools to report accurately on performance and identify in-market leads. Work closely with Sales, Business Development and Product Marketing to help them leverage these insights to inform sales outreach.

Qualifications for the role

You enjoy working with digital marketing approaches and technology and the B2B marketing market.You have minimum 5 years of experience in campaign and event management.Highly adept in marketing automation tools e.g Salesforce, Pardot.You are innovative around strategic consulting and collaboration.Proven experience of Marketing in Business Administration.You are at ease communicating in English.
