Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing and optimizing marketing strategies to build and engage Planate's customer base. You will work closely with the Business Development (BD) team to align marketing efforts with planning and proposal development while identifying opportunities for lead generation. This role will also involve overseeing campaigns, developing creative marketing materials, and ensuring the success of trade shows, events, and promotions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Manage and execute marketing campaigns tailored for key clients, ensuring they align with the clients' needs and marketing goals.
+ Collaborate with the BD team to ensure marketing outcomes align with proposal development and strategic planning.
+ Organize promotional events, such as trade shows, and work closely with the Business Support Group (BSG) to ensure timely delivery of materials and merchandise. Identify and pursue organizations that can help expand Planate’s network.
+ Design and execute lead generation programs, including vendor registrations, trade shows, social media campaigns, and more.
+ Ensure that all creative marketing materials (e.g., fact sheets, brochures, profile booklets) are regularly reviewed, updated, and align with brand guidelines in coordination with the Creative Design Team.
+ Identify weaknesses in existing marketing campaigns, analyze data, and adjust strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Regularly communicate marketing initiatives and performance metrics to senior management. Collaborate to brainstorm new strategies and support sales calls in the U.S.
+ Develop processes for better utilization of Nimble, our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, to enhance client database management.
+ Ensure effective management of team members, ensuring adherence to company policies and processes.
+ Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
+ 10 years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing.
+ Significant and proven experience in a leadership role.
+ Experience in the construction and engineering industry is preferred.
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
+ Strong experience with online content marketing, social media strategies, and general marketing tools.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
