Role Objective:

Are you a passionate marketing leader with a love for live entertainment? Mellen Events is seeking a Marketing Manager to drive world-class campaigns, engage audiences, and boost ticket sales for some of the biggest local and global artists.

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive ticket sales and brand awareness.Oversee brand identity and positioning across all marketing channels.Lead campaign planning and creative direction, ensuring high-impact execution.

 

Campaign Management & Digital Marketing

Plan and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and partner channels.Create and manage content for social media, websites, email marketing, and PR.Set up and optimise paid campaigns (Meta, Google, programmatic).Manage website content, email marketing, and customer engagement strategies.

 

Media Planning & Buying

Develop and implement media strategies to maximise reach and ROI.Negotiate media placements and oversee advertising spend within allocated budgets.Track and optimise media performance for continuous improvement.

 

Performance & Revenue Growth

Drive key performance metrics including ticket sales, marketing ROI, audience growth, and social engagement.Analyse data, track campaign performance, and optimise marketing efforts based on insights.

 

Stakeholder & Partner Management

Build strong relationships with internal teams, media partners, sponsors, and artists’ representatives.Oversee third-party marketing initiatives for partners and stakeholders.

Event & Customer Experience

Create fan-focused marketing strategies to enhance the audience experience.Manage customer interactions, fan engagement, and database segmentation.Provide on-site marketing support at key events.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

5+ years of marketing experience in entertainment, sports, media, or a marketing agency.Proven success in campaign management and digital marketing (Meta, Google Ads, email marketing, etc.).Experience managing marketing budgets and optimising spend for maximum impact.Strong understanding of the Australian entertainment market and audience trends.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Passion for live entertainment, a creative mindset, and a results-driven approach.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed for events.
