We're looking for an Marketing Manager - Awards Marketing to join our team in London as part of our Marketing function.
Your Role: This is an exciting opportunity to work with multiple teams across the Money20/20 Brand, creating, executing and reporting on a number of marketing initiatives throughout the year to attract and retain Award entries for our new Money20/20 Awards product In this role your challenge is to build (with help) the way in which we go-to-market with the Awards product, driving entries, customer engagement and positive brand perception across our customer base, executing plans efficiently to deliver proven results.
You’ll be responsible for delivering the go-to-market strategy for the Money20/20 Awards, focusing on new business lead acquisition and customer retention with detailed marketing planning and reporting. You’ll collaborate with and be supported by hugely creative team members across departments and geographies (video, content, design, experience, creative… you name it, we’ve got it). You’ll have direct and frequent access to our senior leadership who are shaping and launching the awards. And you’ll be part of a marketing team that keeps raising the bar across campaigns in multiple global markets.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for crafting and executing a year-round marketing plan for our Awards, leading marketing strategy & planning, with influence on entry volumes and brand KPIs.
You’ll work closely with internal Awards, Judging and Content teams to drive new business generation and customer retention across target markets, personas and company types, ensuring seamless integration between Awards and Marketing activities.
You will work closely with Awards customer engagement team and stay close to customers, leveraging the knowledge to help shape an insight-led marketing strategy and plan that answers clear customer needs, and the go-to-market plan to deliver it.
You'll also be responsible for reporting; setting KPIs at the beginning of a campaign in conjunction with the Awards team, setting clear reporting pathways and managing reports after campaigns to strict deadlines.
You’ll partner with the Awards team to deliver impactful customer experience and roll out customer-led Awards activities.
You will also partner with the Content team to deliver our Awards marketing campaigns, working closely with them on execution of case studies, testimonials and success stories.
Work alongside the PR team to land strategic storytelling and key messaging around new Awards.
Build a global network of Representatives to optimise success, strategising, creating and sharing assets with our global network.
Identify impactful product positioning, key messaging, and effective targeting strategies using existing customer personas.
Work closely with Creative, Press and Digital Marketing teams, writing detailed briefs that enable the delivery of a world-class marketing campaign.
Report regularly on campaign activity to all levels of stakeholder across the business, working closely with the Digital Marketing team.
You'll collaborate with our regional show teams and advise on Awards marketing strategy and planning, building a schedule with clear timelines, milestones and KPIs.
You’ll need to manage a number of priorities and work with multiple stakeholders, and drive campaigns with clear project plans and regular communication.
Your Experience
Experience in marketing, ideally working on or close to an event
Evidence of a deep understanding of marketing strategy and delivery of marketing planning
Experience of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns; marketing experience in the Awards space a bonus
Experienced briefing internal creative teams or agencies
You excel in stakeholder management, you’re an expert communicator and you’re comfortable setting clear channels of communication and managing expectations across multiple teams
Attention to detail is at the heart of everything you do
You’re brand literate; strategically and creatively
You’ve got experience in project management and you have a proven track record of delivering work to a deadline, keeping teams regularly updated along the way
It would be helpful (but not crucial) if you’re familiar with the finance, fintech and tech industries
