This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center- Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum.
The primary purpose is to oversee the lifecycle management, including developing and executing the positioning and marketing strategy for GMC Terrain and Acadia models. Job responsibilities also include understanding the customer and the segment dynamics, identifying market trends and developing competitive packaging and introducing special editions. This position will also coach, develop and set the strategic direction for employees within the team. This person will be responsible for individual and collective team development in a high performing marketing team. Responsibilities:
Responsible for product lifecycle management, developing positioning, marketing strategy, and marketing planWork closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and plans that support divisional and vehicle objectives Develop comprehensive strategic launch plans for current and future products across both ICE and EV segmentsDevelop and ensure consistent marketing communications based on critical product attributes and market trends to provide foundation for consumer, dealer, wholesale, and media messagesBrief, guide and approve all advertising and marketing related material for strategic adherence, consistent messaging, and product correctnessAbility to develop and present a wide range of presentations for leadership reviews, marketing updates, media, training, dealers, partners, and customers. Proven ability to simplify and streamline complex topics to drive decision making, and achieve objectivesSupport and manage dealer and field ordering recommendations that drive fastest turning and most profitable configurations via Focused Ordering as well as VRIMCollaborate with Order Fulfillment for developing plans that optimize mix with supply constraints and maximize production Support Product & Pricing team with content & packaging plans and associated penetration forecasts and management.Leverage marketing information and interface with the research teams to uncover key consumer insights and competitive opportunities
