Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque **Position Overview** This role is pivotal in aligning global marketing strategies with local market needs, ensuring effective execution of campaigns, product launches, and educational initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to marketing execution, strong collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of the medical device industry—particularly in Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and Peripheral Vascular Surgery. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive market penetration, optimize reimbursement strategies, and enhance brand visibility while maintaining compliance with regional regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities** + Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to drive business growth across peripheral intervention, vascular, structural, and coronary segments. + Adapt global marketing initiatives to align with local market dynamics, ensuring compliance with UK & Ireland regulatory guidelines. + Plan and manage end-to-end product launches, including pre-launch, launch, and post-launch activities, in collaboration with the International Marketing team. + Partner with regional leadership and reimbursement teams to optimize reimbursement strategies for all Shockwave products. + Execute medical education programs in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Assistant, ensuring effective engagement with healthcare professionals. + Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and sales objectives, driving optimal market penetration. + Conduct market research to analyze customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes, identifying opportunities for growth. + Establish and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders. + Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership. + Oversee and manage the marketing budget for the UK & Ireland, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). + Strong experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, ideally within Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, or Vascular Surgery. + Strong understanding of the UK & Ireland market and regulatory landscape. + Proven ability to develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. + Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms. + Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team. + Fluency in English (written and spoken). + Willingness to travel (up to 60% of the working month).
