Job Scope
Under general supervision, the Marketing Materials Specialist is responsible for inventory fulfillment to support Marketing and Medical Education events (such as surgical sets, workshop sets, display materials and literature). This position works directly with the Sales Field, Medical Education, Tradeshow, and Sales Training teams to ensure adequate demo inventory support for tradeshows, surgeon meetings, medical education training, and sales representative product training.
Responsibilities
Maintain and organize marketing warehouse layout and shelving to ensure accessibility, prepping stations, and inventory storage. Daily communication with domestic and international sales field regarding demo inventory needs, including order status, order modification, and return of materials in a timely manner. Accurately pick, pack, and ship inventory requested for all tradeshows, surgical skills courses, meetings, product trainings, etc.With exceptional attention to detail, review demo sets for missing, damaged, or broken items and replenish inventory as needed.Work closely with Medical Education, Tradeshow, and Sales Training teams to reserve materials for events and confirm product availability. Assist Medical Education with set-up and on-site support of training events as needed.Works around cadaver specimens used for educational training purposes. May travel as needed to provide on-site support for Medical Education courses, including set-up, support, and tear-down of event (approximately 1-2 times per year).Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associates in related field preferred.High level of verbal and written communication skills supported by strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a close team structure.Experience in material coordination/shipping environment preferred.Experience with international shipping requirements preferred.Intermediate computer skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook).Exceptional time management, including the ability to multi-task.Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to read, understand and complete all paperwork.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
