Marketing Media Manager- Maserati North America

As part of the North America Marketing team, help amplify Maserati and drive growth in the marketplace by working closely with the Director of N.A. Marketing and aligning with the Global Headquarters Marketing team. Leverage curiosity by deeply understanding consumer insights, analyzing the competitive landscape, staying at the forefront of media trends, implementing test plans for media campaigns, and using data-driven insights to optimize performance.

 

You have a strong grasp of the paid media and advertising space and apply that expertise to collaborate with management and creative partners in developing world-class media plans that seamlessly align with holistic marketing strategies. This includes leading, coordinating, and optimizing cooperative marketing funds to support incremental marketing efforts across our dealer network.

 

The role also involves managing multiple external agency partners to sustain the program, overseeing the fund budget, and evaluating the effectiveness of funded marketing tactics within the dealer network. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the media and dealer marketplace and a passion for activating Maserati N.A. marketing plans in a way that authentically connects with customers.

 

Media and Strategy

Develop media campaigns, journeys, and audience strategies to meet various objectives, delivering highly targeted, premium, and relevant content to key audiences. Partner with the brand and creative teams to brief media asset requests, ensuring alignment with industry and channel best practices. Lead and manage an agency team of integrated media operations and channel experts to ensure a cohesive strategy and flawless execution from start to finish. Serve as the main media point of contact for the N.A. marketing team, working closely with agency partners and campaign/channel managers to create and communicate compelling, holistic marketing plans. Align custom campaign executions with trusted media partners, in collaboration with PR/Communications and experiential teams, across areas such as editorials, influencer marketing, video content, social media posts, podcast episodes, and audio scripts. Communicate media priorities and needs effectively to both N.A. and Global marketing partners. Manage strategic alignment between media efforts and the website. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts on program requirements, policies, and procedures for the approval and use of marketing funds by the dealer network. Oversee cooperative marketing funds in partnership with agency partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to brand standards. Manage external Maserati partners, dealerships, and budgets for cooperative marketing funds and operational expenses. This includes tracking expenditures, forecasting needs, and optimizing fund usage to maximize ROI.

Performance Management and Reporting

Create production briefs for creative agencies and trafficking requests for media agencies. Dive deep into weekly campaign performance to identify trends, successes, and opportunities for optimization. Present media plans to internal leadership and business teams for approval and buy-in before external rollout. Provide strategic and tactical feedback to media agencies on campaign plans, while driving ongoing campaign management in partnership with media agencies of record. Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts executed with cooperative advertising funds. Oversee and manage a robust campaign budget, collaborating with agency partners on monthly campaign forecasts and reconciliations, and managing internal invoicing.

Basic Qualifications:

6+ years of work experience in OOH, digital/online marketing with knowledge of Dealer Marketing Strong understanding of digital and direct response marketing across key channels including OOH, Print, Paid, Social, Display, Video, Search, Affiliates and Custom programs in an e-commerce setting required; experience at a multi-channel retailer and/or driving online-to-offline programs a strong plus. Strong track record with showing up boldly and elevated in direct response marketing - connecting consumers with brand innovation, experiences, content that inspires, while leveraging data and testing insights to continuously improve Experience in the automotive or related wholesale or franchise model industries preferred. Strong and thoughtful approach to issues, challenges and problems always keeping the consumer at the center or priorities. Experience managing multi-million-dollar campaign budgets - creating PO’s, managing invoices, providing monthly forecasts and reconciliations Proven track record of working highly-collaboratively and cross-functionally, investing in relationships across diverse brand, creative, business, media, and technical teams. Skilled at leading teams both directly and indirectly in a highly matrixed environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including concepting and delivering presentations on complex business issues required Previous experience with managing large marketing budgets and having a proven record of delivering against sharp KPIs, revenue goals, and return on ad spend Strong analytical skills & comfort with getting your “hands dirty” diving deep into the numbers. Proven capability to use data to drive business decisions & marketing optimization required Can build and maintain strong relationships at all levels within the company.
