JOB SUMMARY
The job supports the marketing department's Process Analysis, Reporting and Improvement efforts, rollouts of productivity tools and process, and design and implementation Marketing Talent Development & Training, as well as New Hire Onboarding programs. Supports the senior and Lead Analysts in researching and analyzing basic to complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of the entire marketing organization and makes recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency and practices. Interacts and collaborates with marketing senior leadership, subject matter experts within marketing organization and procurement to drive selection and use of productivity management tools and resources that measure marketing value, impact and contribution. Supports the implementation of all training-related projects for marketing team talent and skills development, as well as new-hire onboarding.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Analysis, Reporting and Improvement. Research and analyze basic to complex issues surrounding the processes and systems of the entire marketing organization. Make recommendations surrounding improving processes, efficiency and practices. Simulate and test process improvements. Communicate changes and support training to impacted business units. Ask effective process discovery questions to determine process exceptions, competing priorities, inconsistencies and other hindrances to efficient work scenarios. Identify gaps and wastes for continuous improvement. Use process mapping and other business software to draw up policies and procedures. Recommend methodology and resources for unstructured processes and methodologies such as agile marketing process and project prioritization methodology. May train teams on process and improvements. Work with leadership and stakeholders to identify reporting needs. Recommend reporting design and streamlines reporting production process. Project Management and Technology Platform Rollouts. Interact and collaborate with senior leadership, subject matter experts within marketing organization and procurement to aid selection and use of productivity management tools and resources that measure marketing value, impact and contribution, such as marketing reporting and analytics; project management; workflow processes; creative production and fulfillment; and, digital asset management, e.g. Optimize tools to drive high accountability, move campaigns to market faster, streamline marketing planning and execution, and get the most value from our assets. Collaborate with team and responsible for the execution of complex, large-scale projects (such as digital asset management, creative project management tool, video file share platforms) from planning to completion. Plan, develop and execute against schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. Define and monitor matrix team members’ roles and functions, coordinating team activities throughout the lifecycle of the project. Analyze data, identify trends and inefficiencies to prevent problems from arising. Create and implement mitigation and contingency plans where needed. Create presentations, facilitate meetings and provide roadmaps and periodic recommendations for improvement.Marketing Talent Development & Training and New Hire Onboarding. Provide input and recommendations around training-related projects for marketing team talent and skills development. Consult with hiring managers for new hire onboarding training (including coaching through universal onboarding and training plans as well as collaborating to advise role- and team-specific recommendations). Identify and propose (along with senior leadership) gaps and opportunities for training, talent and skills development and maintains a calendar of all opportunities and activities, adapting and communicating plan rollouts as needed. Measure the success of training efforts and compile executive summary reports for review.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION
