Marketing Operations Lead

We are seeking a Marketing Operations Lead to drive Clearwater Analytics’ marketing operations strategy and execution. This leader will optimize processes, enhance reporting frameworks, and manage a sophisticated marketing tech stack to drive efficiency and measurable outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

What You’ll Do 

Lead Marketing Operations: Manage and scale the Marketing Operations team by focusing on improving processes, optimizing tools, and developing talent to deliver operational excellence. 

Optimize the Marketing Tech Stack: Oversee the marketing technology ecosystem to ensure seamless integration and data flow, enabling insights that inform key business decisions. 

Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with demand generation, product marketing, field marketing, sales teams, and IT to execute strategies that enhance lead generation, qualification, and conversion. 

Develop and Refine Lead Reporting Frameworks: Establish efficient workflows for lead management, including lifecycle tracking, lead scoring and routing, while building detailed attribution models and dashboards to measure success. 

Marketing Performance Measurement: Support the definition and management of marketing KPIs per function, dashboards, and reporting to track marketing effectiveness, pipeline contribution, and ROI. 

Manage Cross-Functional Initiatives: Coordinate with internal stakeholders to assess, implement, and optimize tools and systems that support Clearwater’s growth and strategic goals. 

Ensure Compliance: Maintain data privacy, security, and compliance standards across all marketing processes and tools. 

Support Strategic Planning: Contribute to marketing roadmap development, including quarterly reviews, campaign strategy, and long-term planning efforts. 

Enable the accelerated scaling and strategic evolution of the marketing organization within a hypergrowth company on the cusp of its next stage of enterprise expansion. 

Who You Are 

8+ years of experience in marketing operations or a related field, with a proven track record of managing marketing technologies and optimizing workflows. 

Experience leading distributed teams, with strong skills in coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing professionals. 

Expertise in managing and scaling lead processes, including lead lifecycle management, scoring, routing, and improving conversion rates. 

In-depth knowledge of B2B marketing strategies, sales processes, and performance metrics, with experience aligning marketing efforts to revenue goals. 

Strong understanding of Salesforce campaign structures, data attribution models, and building executive-level dashboards to communicate outcomes. 

Experience managing CRM integrations across a complex marketing tech stack, including tools like Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, Full Circle, Cvent, 8Sendoso, and more 

Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across teams and senior leadership. 

 

Salary Range

$120,000.00 - $168,000.00

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
