The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the marketing department’s processes to optimize productivity and maintain smooth operations. This member of the Marketing Leadership Team develops a high-level view of our marketing operations and procedures, and leverages technology, data/analytics, and best practices to implement new and refined processes to provide actional insights, enhance efficiency, strengthen marketing strategy, and support overall business objectives. The Marketing Operations Manager reports to the Principal, Marketing, and works closely with all Marketing team members, enterprise teams, and firm leadership to execute the firm’s marketing strategy.Your RoleManage Marketing Operations/Technology Team.Continuously improve operational workflows via cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, automation, adoption of best practices, implementation of new processes and change management.Onboard, train, and develop new team members within the marketing team and firmwide leadership.Evolve and scale training program including in-person symposium, online training modules and resources.Manage the marketing technology stack, ensuring it is fully leveraged, including but not limited to HubSpot (CRM), Deltek Vantagepoint (ERP), OpenAsset (digital asset management), (project management), the Hub (social intranet) and proposal automation/content management system.Provide quality assurance reviews of proposals, collateral and other marketing deliverables.Oversee scheduling of marketing requests.Mitigate capacity challenges within the marketing team. Identify, evaluate, and deploy marketing technology tools to support business needs.Measure and evaluate marketing performance to enhance overall marketing process, technology, and workflow.Regular reporting of marketing team resource/time tracking to identify staffing needs.Collaborate with Marketing Leadership on strategic planning and budgeting. Additional coordination and administrative duties as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field of study.10+ years of relevant experience with 4+ years of that in a management role.Experience implementing and managing marketing technology platforms such as CRM, ERP, digital asset management, project management, and proposal automation/content management systems.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote.Architecture/Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, or other Professional Services industry experience a plus.Proven track record of strong leadership, team building and development, cross-functional collaboration and external vendor management.Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude.Thrives in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, management and problem-solving skills.Holistic and interdisciplinary mindset and approach.Established in 1972, Ware Malcomb is a contemporary and expanding full service design firm providing professional architecture, planning, interior design, civil engineering, branding and building measurement services to corporate, commercial/residential developer and public/institutional clients throughout the world.
