Marketing Operations Manager - India

Job Description:

The Cornerstone OnDemand Foundation is currently seeking a highly entrepreneurial, operational, and collaborative Marketing and Operations Manager to join the Foundation’s team. The Marketing and Operations Manager will be responsible for marketing activities to raise awareness of the Foundation’s programs, partners, and impact in the nonprofit sector by amplifying the company’s social presence, acting as our voice and driving our social media and program marketing strategy. This includes managing the Foundation’s various online channels and communities, ensuring a consistent brand presence, creating and publishing creative content that increases awareness and engagement, and enables the Foundation to maximize impact across the nonprofit sector.  The Marketing and Operations Manager will also be responsible for Foundation operations focused on reporting metrics, managing budget and operating expenses, and identifying and implementing opportunities to improve processes and systems to increase efficiency.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the ideal candidate is a strong communicator and collaborator with experience in general program/product marketing using social media both personally and professionally as well as experience in operations management. This person should be capable of advancing the Foundation’s business objectives as well as having strong organizational, project management, and budget management skills. This role is based in Mumbai or Pune, India and as part of the Foundation team will also work closely with the Head of Social Impact and stakeholders across the Cornerstone OnDemand enterprise.

 

In this role you will…

1.Key Marketing and Social Media Responsibilities:

Oversee the Foundation’s marketing and social media strategy.Develop and execute effective, integrated marketing plans to support key Foundation goals, including maintaining timelines, overseeing production of materials, leading communication with internal and external partners, and post-campaign analysis and reporting. Execute visual design for all web and print assets. Manage, maintain content, and continually update the Foundation’s websites (3) in English, Arabic, French and Spanish using Wix.Manage the email promotion and social media calendar.Draft, edit and distribute promotional emails using Mailchimp in English, Arabic, Spanish and French.Manage and develop onboarding programs for Foundation programs (2).Manage and develop social media for Foundation programs including Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.Manage and develop Facebook advertising, Google Ad budget and campaigns.Interact with target audiences by responding to learner emails, Facebook messages, LinkedIn messages, and comments across all social media platforms.Support Foundation partners on joint marketing opportunities.Manage internal marketing communications between Foundation and Cornerstone enterprise (e.g. Slack and internal newsletters).Create and deploy annual learner surveys in English, French, Spanish and Arabic using Survey Monkey.Track, measure and report results; use data to optimize and evolve our marketing strategies.Ensure authenticity and consistency of the Foundation’s brand and social voice.

2.Key Operations Responsibilities:

Run reports on Foundation monthly metrics. Manage Foundation budget and work with stakeholders to manage monthly and annual operating expenses and tax processes. Process vendor and contractor payments. Create quarterly Board presentations in collaboration with the Director of DisasterReady and Head of Social Impact. Organize and manage knowledge management and collaboration tools for Foundation (e.g. Sharepoint, MS Teams, Slack, Asana). Manage Foundation accounts in customer relationship management system Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems, and implement changes to increase efficiency.

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, business or social sciences Three to five years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, PR or journalism Two years of operational experience Passion for the non-profit and humanitarian aid sectors Proficiency in spoken and written English Demonstrated experience working in the nonprofit sector – either as an employee or volunteer

Skills:

Experience with MailChimp as an email marketing platformExperience with Wix, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTubeModerate to advanced Excel skills for reporting (formulas, pivot tables etc.) Basic Photoshop skills for graphics editingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including detailed editing and generating compelling content in different written formats (e.g. long-form, social media, video scripts)Experience storytelling in short form, using video, graphics, emerging channels (preferred)Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailProven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneouslyStrong relationship-building skills, fostering collaboration across departments and teamsAbility to work with AI tools, contractors and volunteers to translate and validate translation of marketing and social media contentAbility to work autonomously, asynchronously and collaboratively in a geographically distributed teamAbility to operate well under pressure and are proactive in managing expectations
