We have an exciting role open on the Marketing Operations team! The Marketing Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting and enhancing Ferguson's marketing operations. This role will lead projects spanning multiple teams as well as handle work planning and resource allocation processes for multiple teams. In addition, they will assist in streamlining processes and ensuring consistency across cross-department initiatives by developing project templates, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and standardized workflows for others to use.

This role demands strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in tools like Airtable and Adobe Workfront to optimize workflows and collaboration. Prior experience with Agile methodologies will be highly valuable in this role.

Location:

This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid in Newport News VA, in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities:

Help develop and maintain project templates, SOPs, and workflows to promote consistency and streamline marketing processes.

Assist in the implementation of new processes and workflows aimed at improving operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration across the department.

Generate and share marketing work management reports, contributing to dashboards that track project progress and outcomes and assist with resource balancing and allocation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the execution and coordination of marketing operations, driving process improvements and operational effectiveness.

Lead various marketing operations projects, ensuring efficient planning, execution, and timely delivery of initiatives across teams.

Support email automated program management, coordinating the execution of complex email automation campaigns.

Help handle Scrum/Sprint planning, ensuring on-time project launches and accurate content delivery.

Oversee email A/B testing projects, running ~45 tests per year to drive continuous improvement in email performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a similar field.

3+ years of experience in marketing operations or project management.

Proficiency in project management tools, namely Airtable being the main tool you will utilize and Workfront to assist with tracking, managing tasks, and ensuring accountability across projects.

Internal associates with process workflow and project management experience highly considered.

Proven track record in developing and improving workflows and processes.

Strong communication skills for managing expectations, fostering collaboration, and building relationships with partners.

Excellent organizational skills, with an emphasis on prioritizing tasks, maintaining attention to detail, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, handling multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Experience with Agile methodologies is highly preferred.

Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Certified ScrumMaster) are advantageous.

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$3,600.00 - $5,866.30

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
