BAT GBS Pakistan has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Planning Associate

ROLE SUMMARY

Support key strategic business decisions through the demand planning process by providing clear understanding on drivers giving towards short term & long-term volume & value growth. Provide in depth insights and foresights using internal and external sources for demand planning to meet business objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Supervise and assess changes in the local economic environment and their implications on BAT’s and competitors' important metrics to support strategic decision-making.Analyze the interrelationship of socio-economic variables and their influence on consumer behavior and category dynamics to identify industry trend shifts.Evaluate key business performance drivers to improve short-term sales and demand planning, while integrating internal/external factors to develop long-term forecasts supporting pricing decisions and strategic recommendations.Conduct deep-dive analyses of market performance and trends, demonstrating all available data sources to generate actionable insights and recommendations for remedial action.Drive industry analysis, including market share and volume projections, scenario development, and trend evaluations, chipping in to BAT’s IBPM cycle and supporting the preparation of strategic materials.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

3-4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in marketing, with a strong understanding of data sources.Ability to analyze and interpret sophisticated data to derive significant insights and support decision-making.A combination of analytical thinking and creative problem-solving to address business challenges efficiently.Strong proficiency in English with the ability to communicate insights clearly and optimally.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

Sophisticated knowledge of Excel, including proficiency in data analysis, modelling, and forecastingExperience with Power BiGood presentation & communication skillsAbility to work with cross functions.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

Bachelor or equivalent experience" in Statistics, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
