Marketing Procurement Analyst

This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for a Marketing Procurement Analyst
 

The Marketing Procurement Analyst supports  the RingCentral Marketing department in ensuring that  Marketing procurement activities such as vendor onboarding, budgeting & forecasting, and real time spend tracking are executed both swiftly and accurately.This person will partner with Marketing budget owners to gather requirements, select, and onboard vendors, drive cost savings, and execute contracts.

Purchasing Duties and Administrative Work. Ensure execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works including, but not limited to, PO creation, contract processing, invoice management, expenses, variance reporting, etc.

Cross Functional partnership. Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Accounting, and Legal stakeholders

Process Improvement. Define and optimize procurement process to drive continuous efficiency improvements

Purchasing Records and Data Management. Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system

Reports and Analysis. Prepare reports and summarize vendor cost data. Review business cases for vendor requests. Gather supporting documentation

Obtain vendor documents, including RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, NDAs, and DPAs

Vendor Management. Vet the quality and reliability of proposed vendors. Compare vendor costs against available budget and industry benchmarks. Lead or support vendor negotiations to secure cost savings

Manage Purchase Orders and Contracts. Submit Purchase Orders and legal contracts for internal review and approval

To succeed in this role you must have the following:

At least 2+ years of experience in purchasing

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or any related field

Must have strong English communication and negotiation skills

Desired Qualifications:

Integrity - high degree of confidentiality to manage sensitive and privileged information

Procurement skills - Ability to submit PRs with complete details and route for approvals

Accounting basic knowledge - Has basic knowledge of accounting principles

Contract basic knowledge Familiarity with basic contract terms and conditions

Analytical Skills - Very keen on details and organized 

Problem Solving Skills - Able to solve complex problems and gather necessary information to solve those problems.

Communication Skills - high level of written and verbal communication skills

Collaboration - ability to work across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals. 

Intra and Interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments

Tools - Solid proficiency in MS Office suite especially Excel, Google Suite

Willing to work on night shift

Willing to work on hybrid setup (10-11 days in office per month, Cubao or Ortigas)
