WBTW News 13, the #1-rated CBS affiliate in sunny Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is looking for a highly motivated and creative Marketing Producer. This position will be responsible for producing effective on-air promotional spots, daily topical news promos, PSAs and collaborating on news image campaigns.  Position also assists Creative Services shoot or edit commercials if needed.

Requirements & Skills:

Minimum 2 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/editor for a local station or cable network working in a news environmentMust have ability to work daytime hours regularly and flexible hours including weekends when neededMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust be able to provide a reel of work examples -- include a web address with your resume or cover letterMust have excellent writing skills, including ability to write topical promos for daily news promosStrong non-linear editing skills, preferably using Adobe PremierePrefer experience with After Effects and PhotoshopPassion for strong image and promotion writingPrefer video shooting skills utilizing DSLR camera, especially Canon.Working knowledge of lighting and audio gearPossess excellent communication, presentation, organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasksMust have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with all departmentsBonus would be experience operating a drone
