Marketing Professional, as part of South Europe, Middle East & CIS Sales Area (SEMEC) role reporting to the Vice President South Europe, Middle East & CIS Sales Area located in Bucharest, Romania with the mission of proactive managing the marketing activities in accordance with the Sandvik business model.
Your responsibilities
As the Marketing professional, you will help oversee the development and execution of Divisional and Sales area marketing strategies, develop business and communication activities for different channels, direct and distributors. We are looking for proactive professional passionate about marketing and communication, working independently supporting businesses on daily routine as well as providing services for local territories.
Marcom Initiatives: Collaborate with internal sales teams on Marcom projects to align messaging and branding with global initiatives.
Enhance event and campaign content by staying updated on industry trends. liaise with the marketing and sales managers, distribution channel to ensure that they understand and comply with the marketing initiatives and policies.
Communication Planning and Execution: Develop and implement plans for Sales Area & Territories announcements, including event briefings, press releases, and post-event updates for all distribution channels.
PR and Media Relations: Assist in executing PR activities, including drafting press releases, coordinating event announcements, and supporting post-event communications.
Social Media Content Management: Oversee and manage the corporate social media content plan, ensuring alignment with marketing, PR, and strategic objectives.
Digital Marketing: Assist in digital marketing activities; data analysis and reporting: analyse social media and platform data, creating insights that will refine our marketing tactics, and manage dashboards to track campaign performance.
Event Management: Execute and evaluate internal marketing campaigns, customer and internal events, trade shows and customer visits to our facilities, provide support the coordination, scheduling, and management of global and local events, including corporate gatherings (congresses, roundtables, fairs) in both online and physical formats. Assist in pre-event planning and post-event follow-up for company-sponsored events.
Collaboration with Third-Party Partners: Work closely with partners within Sales area, vendors, and translation agencies to ensure seamless execution of events from concept to completion. Oversee purchase requisitions and budget for event-related.
Your profile
The role reports to the Sales Area Vice President Southern Europe, Middle East and CIS and locations are flexible
It’s important that you have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience performing complex activities in a high level of autonomy and that you hold a University degree.
To be successful in this role, you will be service minded, possess strong communication skills and could work independently as well as in a team.
You are willing to work hands on and support team proactively.
English will be a natural working language, Russian and French language are competitive advantage
