Overview of the Role:
The Marketing Project & Product Information Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the creative, design, and brand teams for our multi-brand CPG organization. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely, within-budget, and quality execution of creative projects, as well as managing and maintaining product information and creative assets within a Product Information Management (PIM) system. Woodstream currently uses Salsify.
The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive professional with a track record in project management and a keen understanding of PIM/PXM platforms. Reporting directly to the Group Creative Director, this position will work cross-functionally to manage creative workflows and ensure smooth communication between all stakeholders.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Project Management:
+ Oversee the coordination and execution of creative and marketing projects, managing timelines, budgets, and scopes.
+ Collaborate with brand teams to anticipate project needs and create comprehensive project plans.
+ Utilize Adobe Workfront or similar project management tools to track progress, allocate resources, and identify potential bottlenecks.
+ Proactively address project delays or challenges, offering timely communication and actionable solutions to stakeholders.
+ Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams, external agencies, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
+ Delegate design and creative tasks based on team members' strengths, skill sets, and workloads.
+ Prepare regular status reports for senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
+ Manage creative team production budget and expense reporting
Product Information System Management:
+ Upload, organize, and catalog creative assets (e.g., images, videos) within the PIM system (Woodstream currently uses Salsify)
+ Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all product information and asset channels.
+ Partner with product teams and brand managers to optimize content distribution models for various platforms and markets.
+ Provide training and support to internal teams on PIM system functionalities and best practices.
+ Lead all PIM system initiatives, including but not limited to syndication with customer sites
Performance Tracking:
+ Measure project success using KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
+ Conduct financial analyses to meet budgetary goals and provide insights for cost control.
+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall project efficiency and effectiveness.
Other Functions:
+ Perform other duties as assigned
+ Regular attendance and punctuality required
Successful Candidate Profile:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
+ 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a creative or marketing environment.
+ Hands-on experience with PIM or PXM platforms such as Salsify, Akeneo, Syndigo, or Pimcore.
+ Proficiency in Adobe Workfront or similar project management tools.
+ Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
+ Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
+ Solid understanding of creative workflows and marketing processes.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ PMP or PRINCE II certification is a plus.
