This position will assist with the shipping and logistics support of study clubs, trade shows and other industry meetings. This position will have frequent interactions with the sales force, various levels of management and multiple departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process, pack, and ship daily orders of material to various courses and events primarily using UPS and common carriers Maintain accurate tracking records for materialsEnsure timely delivery of materials as neededTrack/trace shipments to resolve issues that arise during transportationEnsure all equipment and other support material is in good working order, complete and cleanFollow up with team on material not returnedPrepare and ship inventory when requestedMaintain adequate inventory on shelves to support ongoing coursesResponsible for maintaining adequate shipping suppliesAbility to resolve problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring alternative solutions; implementing solution and /or escalating unresolvedSelf-motivation with the ability to work independently and with teamsProficient in managing multiple tasks at the same timeExcellent customer service skillsOther duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience using MS Word, Excel preferredMust have strong organizational skills and possess an exceptional customer service attitudeMust be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.Requires vaccination against Hepatitis B or signed declination formEducation/Experience:
1+ year in a shipping/receiving environment, preferably in a corporate environmentAssociate's degree preferred and/or combination of experienceExperience with event planning and/or tradeshows preferred
